time to be superficial
Today I went shopping with some friends. It was great, and we managed to accomplish our mission of the day. I also realized that some of my friends know more about fashion critiquing then the whole cast of What Not to Wear, which is amazing. I don't think I'll ever have that kind of skill and truth be told I don't really need it.
But I got really lustful for this one dress I tried on that was turquoise satin and was just the greatest dress I've worn that I can ever remember. But if I bought it two things would be very wrong. One I would have trouble paying my rent this weekend, and two I wouldn't have even a single event to wear the dress for.
*Sigh* It really made really sad. I hope that one day I can have both the money for whatever dresses I want, occasions to wear them to, and the body to still be able to wear them. Hopefully that will be true. I put back the dress for now, but it was really hard to do.
